OUR STORY

We’re a music journalism and live events company built on one core belief: great music deserves to be heard, experienced, and documented with intention.

On the editorial side, we cover the artists shaping today’s sound—from emerging local acts to established names—with sharp writing, compelling interviews, and culturally aware storytelling. Our journalism goes beyond surface-level coverage, focusing on the people, scenes, and movements driving music forward.

On the live side, we bring those stories to life. We produce, promote, and book concerts that prioritize both artist vision and audience experience. From intimate club shows to high-energy multi-artist lineups, we handle every detail—curation, logistics, marketing, and execution—to create events that feel authentic and unforgettable.

RELIABLE. SIMPLE. RAD.

MISSION STATEMENT

At Let’s Get Woody, we are dedicated to connecting clients with high-quality live music through a process that is simple, reliable, and transparent. We believe in supporting our artists through fair partnerships, ensuring every concert and event booking experience is seamless for artists, venues, and event planners alike.

The Team

Campbell Wood

OWNER/JOURNALIST

Campbell Wood is a music journalist, live event producer, and on-air personality focused on documenting and building the next generation of music culture.

His career began in broadcast and newsroom environments, where he developed a foundation in storytelling, production, and audience engagement. As a lifestyle intern for WJLA-TV’s Good Morning Washington, he produced on-air segments, booked guests, wrote digital content, and gained live television experience—learning how to translate culture into compelling, accessible media.

At WXJM, Wood expanded into music journalism and audio production, creating radio segments, artist coverage, and written features. His work emphasizes emerging artists, underground scenes, and the cultural context behind the music—bridging the gap between college radio authenticity and professional editorial voice. He has also contributed written work to The Breeze, further sharpening his reporting and storytelling across platforms.

Alongside journalism, Wood has built hands-on experience in live concert booking, promotion, and production. He has organized and promoted local shows, working directly with artists, venues, and teams to execute events from initial concept through day-of-show operations. His approach blends creative curation with practical logistics—handling booking, marketing strategy, audience development, and show execution with a focus on building genuine scenes rather than one-off events.

Through his work as a DJ, writer, and promoter, Wood operates at the intersection of media and live experience. He is particularly interested in how music scenes grow—from college towns to major markets—and how journalism and live production can work together to amplify artists and create lasting cultural moments.

Whether he’s behind a microphone, writing a feature, or running a show, his goal is consistent: to connect audiences with music in a way that feels immediate, authentic, and lasting.
